Attention Suicidal Tendencies fans! R.J. Herrera, former Suicidal Tendencies drummer, has recently been involved in a terrible accident. He fell 25' off a ladder while working on a roof, and landed on his head. He was put in to an induced coma by the doctors due to serious head trauma. He was in the hospital for quite some time. The doctors had to do major reconstructive surgery on his face and head. At first we did not think that R.J. would make it. Thank God he did! He is now out of the hospital and recovering at home. Undoubtedly, this was a horribly tramatic experience for R.J. and his family. R.J. has a young son and daughter who depend on him very much, and is obviously unable to work due to his terrible accident.
Funds for the Herrera family are running low, which is why Piranha Recordz is now accepting donations from Suicidal Tendencies fans around the world who want to help R.J. and his family during this trying time. Please go to our merchandise page and enter the amount you would like to donate to R.J. and his family. R.J. has a lot of pride and was very uncomfortable letting us set up a donation program for him. We insisted, due to the fact he has always been there when we needed him. You can make your donations either through Pay Pal or print out the Snail Mail form on our Merchandise page and send it in with a check or Money order made out to Piranha Recordz. Anything from $5.00 - $5,000 will definately help. Whether it was five dollars or one hundred and fifty dollars, it was truly amazing to see how many people came through for our boy......we have your names, and believe me, we know who you are! As an update, RxCx is going back in for surgery on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 for another Biopsy to determine what kind of tumor he has and how they will most effectively treat it. This is without a doubt a very scary time for RxCx, his family, and friends. Like R.J., Ric is obviously unable to work, making it impossible to support his young son. Please know that we are still accepting donations for Ric Clayton as well. We know you all are not made of money, but we have to do what we can at times like this. Life can really be a Bitch! |

| Ric Clayton aka RxCx
|
 Piranha Recordz is now accepting donations for our long time homeboy Ric Clayton aka RxCx. Ric has had some very unfortunate health problems in the past few weeks that are very much life threatening and have forced him to live without ANY income. It is a miracle that Ric has survived what he has recently gone through, and now the Doctors say they have to do surgery to remove a tumor on Ric's brain. Ric will be fine assuming all goes well, the thing is, he has a 7 year old son and no income.
Ric was the bass player for Venice Hardcore/thrash/punk band - No Mercy and played on "Welcome To Venice" and No Mercy's "Wide Spread Bloodshed." Ric's art has made him a 1980's Westside, punk rock icon. Known from his infamous signature RxCx, Ric has drawn flyers for some of the best Westside punk shows in the day. RxCx drew most of the ST skulls on the shirts that covered the First Suicidal L.P., along with many Suicidal t-shirts and hats that we have all worn.
Ric is a very close friend of mine, and I do not want him to have to worry about paying his bills and other money issues, the energy he spends worrying can be much better spent on his son and recovering from this debilitating Experience. Think about what RxCx has contributed to the scene, and take the time to make a contribution towards his recovery! Ric also wants to thank each and everyone of you that has helped in any way.
